Marianna Polatoglou

Marianna Polatoglou is a Senior Software Engineer with Bloomberg’s Mobile team in London. She is also a Python enthusiast, which led her to get involved with the company’s Python Guild, which she co-chaired for a couple of years until 2021. She recently partnered with the Guilds program coordinator to help the overall Guilds program grow. A Guild is a cross-team initiative within Bloomberg’s Engineering department that contributes to a technical domain via internal meetups, conference engagement, best practices and overall technical direction. Marianna joined Bloomberg in 2014. She earned a Master’s degree in computer science and software engineering from Imperial College London.
