Mike Mead

Mike is an accomplished executive leader who delivers high-energy keynote presentations that challenge and motivate audiences to grow and expand their leadership skills and careers. As a Certified Professional Coach, Mike is passionate about empowering professionals to achieve success through servant leadership.

In his first year at university as a music major, Mike’s dream of making it to Carnegie Hall as a concert pianist was dashed due to finally realizing he was severely underpowered in his music talent. Through that painful process, he discovered another talent for leading and motivating others, along with his interest in all things technology. After achieving his MBA, he embarked on his career in IT, and rapidly became known for his energetic, motivational style of leadership. Time and again, through a focus on empowered organizational culture, his US-based and international teams have successfully delivered complex IT transformation programs that helped the business win.

Mike is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of CNO Financial Group, a Fortune 600 financial services company. Mike received his MBA from Southern Methodist University, and his BBA from Texas Tech University. He is a Certified Professional Coach from Federation University Australia and is a Certified SAFe 5 Agilist. In 2017, Mike received the prestigious award of Best Operations Director in IT from PIKOM Outsourcing Malaysia Excellence, and that same year was an Award Winner for Promotion of Women in IT. Mike regularly speaks at industry events and conferences on topics such as transformation, accountability, and culture. Although not at Carnegie Hall, Mike still loves to tickle the ivories for fun.
